I cannot believe the difference this program has made to my life.   I joined in January, 2005 after reluctantly accepting the fact I needed to incorporate consistent exercise into my lifestyle if I was to be successful in my goal of weight loss and healthier living.  Prior to that, I had watched my nutrition and walked as time permitted.  The difference after just six months is amazing.  I have nearly reached my initial weight loss goal and have decreased from a size 16 to 10.   I believe I can easily surpass that goal and have started to set new goals.   Next summer, I plan to complete a 33 mile hike on the Chilkoot Trail – the mountainous, physically strenuous route taken  by masses through the Klondike Gold Rush.  I never believed that was a possibility for me.
